AbleAisle Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

AbleAisle ("we", "us") is a Shopify app that helps merchants find and fix accessibility issues on their online stores. This policy explains what information the app collects when a merchant installs it, how we use it, and the choices merchants have.

Operator: Martin Walsh, trading as AbleAisle, Newtown Clarke Cottage, Dublin D20 NF86, Ireland. Contact: support@ableaisle.com.

Information we collect

When you install AbleAisle, we receive and store, through the Shopify API:

We do not collect or store information about your customers. Scans load your public storefront pages the same way an anonymous visitor would; we do not access orders, customer records or checkout data.

How we use information

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use the following categories of service providers to run the app. They process information only on our instructions:

Some providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention and deletion

Your rights

Depending on where you are located (for example under the GDPR in the EU/EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or object to its processing. To make a request, email support@ableaisle.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Storefront passwords are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
